I've submitted looks with items of the dress code hidden below layers of other items; scarves, coats, long sweaters styled as dresses hiding short skirts or shorts underneath. Most likely the looks you've seen have obscured the required items, or had different required items (because the game is played globally, I think sometimes the same prompt may have different required items for players in drastically different time zones.) Barring all that, I suppose there could be hacker mods for the game but I've never looked into any of that.

You cannot purchase bonus items you usually have to win them in a competition. Sometimes they let you purchase bonus items for a very high cost when you find them on another player in the voting

Use trendy (fire logo) items, wear perfumes and outfits with a small shirt logo

Go to the icon in the top left corner select eye makeup and the click the makeup it says your wearing and it will take it off, go the the lipstick and do the same thing, click the one you’re wearing and it’ll take it off.

Lots of ways to get bonuses. 1. The consumables - perfume or glitter- when you submit a look. Be careful to select the one that serves your needs, e.g if you want additional stars, or a crown on the leaderboard, or cash. It's best to use the ones you've won from your results or elsewhere because they're free. 2. Check the daily deals for a free deal, they can be a little stingy with giving out free gems but it helps a little. 3. Browse the shop for discounts when you're selecting an outfit. They don't come often but add them to wishlist. 4. Add the cheapest items on your wishlist and when you need to boost the score with a new item, use the filter to choose from your list. 5. Complete the daily quest checklist and watch ads to get bonus cash.

Only wear 1 unworn item per look, unless multiple items are requirements and you need to buy them or have never wore them yet. I have only been playing for 2 months and I will be out of unworn items within a week. Had I known that I would run out so quickly, I’d never have used multiple unworn items just to create more visually pleasing looks. You can enter 24 looks a day and that is not including special events that randomly generate. You get a .75 bonus added to your score for wearing an unworn item when you enter a look. I am dreading losing that bonus, as it will be almost impossible to raise to the top of the global leaderboard without it.
